How To Harness The Power Of Decisions To Manifest Your Desires

Hesitation is the invisible force that keeps us from our joy, prevents us from realizing what we are capable of achieving, and stops us from manifesting what we really want.

Most of the time, we know what we need to do, but hesitation keeps us from moving forward.

One of the most powerful things we can do to realize our desires is to begin taking action toward them. Action is what most of us forget we need in order to manifest our desires.

"Decisions are the force that organizes our energy, gathers our focus, and changes lives."

Here are six simple steps to harness the power of decisions to manifest your desires:

1. Decide what you want.

It all begins with this first decision. Before you can create anything, you have to get clear on what you want. Deciding what you want launches the desire into the universe. As the saying goes, "Where our attention flows, energy goes."

Ask yourself:

  • What do I want?
  • What is my intention?
  • What am I deciding to create?

2. Commit to your desire.

Once you commit, then the forces of the universe can align to co-create your desire. This could show up in the form of an article you read, a connection made through a friend, a book, an event you attend, money that is required to seed your dream, or inspiration that strikes. Any of these examples are evidence that you're on the path to creating your desire. Your decision is calling in the resources inside and outside of you that you need to achieve your desire.

The decision to commit is also about getting really clear on why you want what you want. Knowing your why will focus your energy and keep you motivated when things get hard. The why is everything.

Ask yourself:

  • Why do I want this?
  • What is the impact of this desire?
  • What happens or what is the impact if I don't achieve this?

3. Keep making decisions that move you toward your desire.

You have to show up for your dream. You have to nourish your desire and give it your time and attention. You have to keep making decisions and taking actions that lead you toward your big, beautiful, magnificent goal.

If you feel stuck or afraid, focus on your why. Repeat to yourself all the reasons your goal is important to you and the world.

And then, ask yourself, "What [insert decision] will lead me to my [desire and dream]?" And then do that. You can't get it wrong. Which brings me to my next point.

4. Learn from every decision.

You will face obstacles on the path. It happens. You don't get to choose which obstacles you face or when, but you do get to choose how to respond. Forgive yourself if your first decision didn't get you where you wanted to go. Remind yourself that you made the best decision you could at that point in time, and then use your experience to make a better decision the next time.

Ask yourself, "What's more important—the obstacle or your dream and desire?"

5. While committed to your goal, stay flexible in your approach.

When making decisions you may want to hold onto the mantra "May this decision create the best outcome and highest good for all."

You may have a plan and think that things will work out a certain way, but sometimes there is a better plan in store for you. In other words, hold on to your desire, but be open to finding a new path to achieving your dreams. There is a balance between staying committed to your decisions and remaining flexible in your approach.

6. Relish the autonomy of the decision-making process.

Have fun with it! This is your dream and desire you are creating. It should feel good to make decisions that bring you closer to achieving it! If it feels like a burden or worrisome, take a break and them come back to it when you feel more centered.

What's more important? Following your fear or your desire? High-vibration, joyful decisions carry more power and energy. And you have more fun along the way!

Alexandra
