Should You Be Selling Right Now?

These are the biggest questions I keep getting right now: 

- Should I be selling right now...
- Should I be discounting...
- Should I be giving my products away for free...
- Are people really buying right now...
- What can I do to boost my confidence to stay in the game and still move my business forward...

First, I want you to ask yourself, when this is all over, how do you want to come out of this? 

I'm just going to say it...this is crazy! Unemployment topped 20 million today. We have added trillions upon trillions of dollars of debt here in the US because of the Covid-19 pandemic. 

This is unprecedented. And there is no playbook. 

Even as an optimist, it seems to me, the only guarantee is that it will take a while to fix all this. 

So again, what are you going to do? 

When this is all over, how do you want to come out it?

Honestly, the economy is depending on us all to keep going.

This is not the time to push the pause button on your business.

You will help the economy recover faster if you share your services and products. 

It's time to lean in, not check out. 

No matter if your business is at a place where you want it to be, or if you are still in the trenches building it, or even if you are scared about what comes are still building a business.

Now is not the time to give up. You have invested way too much.

Don't let this be your excuse to write off the year. 

Now is the time to show up, focus in on what you can do and move towards your bigger vision.

So, YES, keep selling. Keep showing up.

And NO, discounting or giving your work away for free is not a sustainable strategy. 

Let's talk about Money FEARS. 

Many of you have written me emails, or shared comments such as...

"No one has any money to spend right now." 

"People aren't buying right now."

"Everyone is losing their jobs."

First, let's get honest --these are abundance blocks in the form of blanket statements that are not necessarily true for everyone. 

For many, nothing has changed in terms of earnings. For some, this pandemic is creating a boom for their business.  For others, yes, lots of things look different including the security of a paycheck. 

So, no, these blanket statements are not necessarily true for everyone. Don't let them be your excuse to throw away the year!

Let me ask you, have you spent any money lately? What have you bought on Amazon this week?  

People are spending money. Perhaps some more cautiously, or differently, but the idea that nobody has money right now is simply not true. 

People will always pay for what they truly want and need. Now is no different. 

5 Strategies To Keep GROWING. 
Here are 5 simple strategies to help you pivot, gather the right strategy and build confidence to keep your business moving forward...
1) Give generously -- think about the free offers you have that can serve your community. Blog posts, livestreams, checklists, product samples, etc. 
2) Pivot. What current products can you tweak to be more relavant right now?
3) Get clear on your vision. Where do you want to be a year from now? What success do you want to be celebrating? 
4) Be willing to make mistakes. Abundant thinkers fail forward  - they make mistakes, but pick it back up and keep going. Not making decisions, keeps you stuck. Be willing to fail. Then get back up. 
5) Make a plan. Set your money goals. Get clear on the actions you can take to get there. Keep going!
No one is going to run your business for you! This is your chance to prove to yourself that you have staying power!
